CPE Policies and Procedures – Group Internet Based
Records Retention
Participants are encouraged to retain their Certificates of Completion for their CPE requirements. Leyva Learning, LLC will retain course attendance records for five years from the date of the course. The records maintained include attendance date and time, participants’ contact information, title of courses attended, webinar log including time in and out, polling results, and questions asked, course evaluations, instructor information, CPE hours, marketing brochure, and copies of the course materials.
Refunds and Rescheduled Courses
We will grant refunds no questions asked any time PRIOR to webinar start time. Please email us at support@accountantsaccelerator.com to request a refund, and we will process it within one business day.
Please note if you cancelled via the GoToWebinar software, we have no way of knowing you need a refund. You MUST email us at support@accountantsaccelerator.com to request a refund.
Once a webinar has started, there are no refunds. The reason is you have already received the handout and the video course materials.
At our sole discretion, we may decide to grant refunds or allow you to participate in a subsequent equivalent course under the following circumstances:
- You were gravely ill and were not able to cancel ahead of time.
- You had an emergency funeral to attend.
- You were majorly polite, emailed us (we don’t love phone calls), have a history of not needing a lot of customer support, and did not raise the owner’s blood pressure in any way.
There are no refunds if you simply missed the webinar because a client called, you wrote it down wrong on your calendar, you misread the time zone, or didn’t read our policy ahead of time. There are no refunds if you failed to comply with NASBA rules and did not receive CPE credits or IRS CE credits.
In the rare case a course needs to be rescheduled, a participant will have the choice to attend the course at the revised time or they can request a refund prior to the start of the revised course. We will notify participants of the rescheduled date immediately via email or phone. Participants must notify us of their request for a refund via email, and the refund will be promptly processed.
Some courses are part of a larger package of offerings, exactly like conference CPE. In this case, the refund policy that applies is the one that is in effect for the entire package.* If a participant is not satisfied with one portion of the course, we will individually work out an arrangement with the participant that is satisfactory to them. This may be providing them with another product of interest to them, offering a credit toward future work, or offering a partial refund.
*Sample package refund: Participants may request a refund within 30 days of the purchase date or by December 31, 2021, whichever is later.
Cancellations
In the rare case that a course needs to be cancelled, we will notify you immediately via email or phone. You will receive a full refund for your order with our profuse apologies.
Our Rights as a Vendor
We reserve the right to refuse to do business with anyone who has a history of:
- An excessive amount of customer service calls or emails where the cost to service the client exceeds the revenue received.
- Credit card disputes.
- Raising the owner’s blood pressure unnecessarily.
