CPE Policies and Procedures – Self-Study/QAS

Purchasing Courses

Courses can be purchased online via a secure shopping cart. Payment options include Master Card, Visa, American Express, Discover, and PayPal. For self-study courses, participants will receive their materials via USPS within 7-14 days. For expedited shipping, call for prices.


The price includes the course materials, regular shipping inside the U.S., and CPE exam processing. Any applicable sales tax is extra. All prices are subject to change without notice.

Refunds and Expiration Date

Participants may request a refund for a CPE course within 14 days of the purchase date. If we have issued a CPE certificate and we refund your money, your certificate will be voided.

To qualify for CPE, the course exam and CPE requirements must be completed within one year of the purchase date of the course.


Self-study program are not usually subject to cancellation. However, in the very rare case that a course is not in stock or has been oversold, we may need to cancel your order. If we do, you will receive a full refund for your order with our profuse apologies.

CPE Credit

Course content includes study questions and exam questions in multiple choice format. The answers to the exam questions, plus a course evaluation must be turned in before CPE credit is granted. 70% passing rate is required for CPE credit. The participant may take the exam two more times if a passing grade is not achieved on the first attempt. Upon successful completion of the exam, a CPE certificate is available which can be printed online.

Records Retention

Participants are encouraged to retain their Certificates of Completion for their CPE requirements. Leyva Learning, LLC will retain course attendance records for five years from the date of the course. The records maintained include purchase date, participants’ contact information, courses purchased, course evaluations, summarized results, instructor information, CPE hours, marketing brochure, and copies of the course materials.
