With ChatGPT’s new feature called My GPTs, you can create your very own generative AI model. The benefits are huge: you can focus the model to complete a task to your detailed specifications which saves prompting creation time. In my experience, the answers have been sharper and more detailed. When I use ChatGPT now, I almost always use a custom GPT that I have created.

In this course, we’ll learn how to create your own GPTs for a number of use cases. I’ll even show you how to protect your GPTs from others and how to monetize them in OpenAI’s brand new GPT store that opened in January 2024. We’ll also get back to basics a bit by covering the ChatGPT interface so you can see the difference between the free version, paid ChatGPT 4.0 model and custom GPTs.

After completing this course, you’ll be able to:

• Create best practice instructions and prompts for your own GPTs
• Understand the difference between ChatGPT 4.0 and GPTs
• Gain clarity on the ChatGPT user interface.
• Get set up in the store to monetize your GPT, or set your GPT to private so no one else can use it

• Remember the main pitfalls of using any generative AI

To use custom GPTs, you will need the paid version of the software. You do not need it to attend this course, but you will need it to apply the things you learned in this course.
